CARTMEL, GRANGE OVER SANDS, CUMBRIA

The interior design brief for this project was to transform an old farmhouse in need of full modernisation into a luxurious family holiday retreat.

Emmie B faced many challenges transforming this old remote farmhouse in Cumbria. For example, updating the heating system and water supply which was fed from a well! The farmhouse interior design brief was to bring the farmhouse up-to-date, whilst also maintaining it’s original charm. The three bathrooms are now luxurious spa like rooms. Using our experience renovating farmhouses, we transformed the bedrooms into elegant boutique style rooms and the original rundown kitchen is now a fully modernised country-style kitchen impressing any guests lucky enough to stay at this property.
